Yeo Workshop is a leading art gallery based in Gillman Barracks, Singapore, since 2013. It is at the forefront of the contemporary art scene and is committed to curating avant-garde, unique and insightful exhibitions, as well as producing progressive engagements, such as gallery-based or online programmes, talks, symposiums, and research guides. Its aim is to promote the innovative and cutting-edge practices of local and international contemporary artists while engaging with the local and visiting audiences to expand the cultural wealth of the nation. Emulating the port city mentality, Yeo Workshop’s programmes aim to dialogue and cross-pollinate ideas between the local, the regional, and the international.
Other art projects and experiences produced by the gallery include 2 Cavan Road – a project that transformed a ship-repair warehouse into a pop-up art destination, and the inaugural edition of the Julius Baer Next Generation Art Prize that focuses on digital artists in Southeast Asia.
