THE TREES OF PARIS by Melisa Teo – part of AGAS Gallery Weekend 2023

Intersections Gallery in collaboration with M Social and Y Project, is proud to present an exclusive exhibition by Singaporean photographer Melisa Teo from her book The Trees of Paris at its Beast & Butterflies restaurant, a dedicated space for creative people designed by visionary French architect Philippe Starck. This exhibition is part of AGAS Gallery Weekend 2023.
By turning her camera towards the trunks and leaves from which Paris draws its roots, Melisa looks for the spiritual link between man and nature. For this, the camera is needed: to recognise and retain what the eye doesn’t see – we can’t see the invisible, but we can photograph it. And by paying attention, we can learn from the most silent of beings living amongst us in this bustling capital.
