
Founded 20 years ago in 1999 by Will Ramsay, the Affordable Art Fair has revolutionised and democratised the art market with its fun and accessible approach. With 12 fairs in 9 cities, including London, Amsterdam, Brussels, New York, Singapore, Hamburg, Stockholm, Hong Kong and Melbourne, the Affordable Art Fair has now welcomed over 2.7 million visitors, who have taken home more than half a million works of art worth over S$695 million (£363m).
Launched in Asia 10 years ago in 2010, the first Affordable Art Fair Singapore saw huge success with over 9,500 visitors and S$1.75 million in art sales. In 2019, the fair welcomed 13,000 visitors and saw S$3.4 million of art sales, reflecting the growing appetite for contemporary art.
Singapore hosted 1067 galleries, welcomed 183,850 visitors and achieved total sales of over S$47 million with 16,000 artworks that found happy homes over the last 10 years
The fairs continue to be an arty hub, showcasing some of the best affordable contemporary art available nationally and internationally. The friendly expert gallerists, inspirational talks, educational programmes and interactive workshops create the perfect environment to discover the joy of collecting art.
