Exhibition: A Satori Moment

Featuring works by Mona Choo (Singapore), Jan Wisse (Netherlands), Quek Kiat Sing (Singapore)

21 April – 4 September 2026
EHL Campus (Singapore)
3 Lady Hill Road, Singapore 258672

In Zen Buddhism, Satori describes a sudden flash of enlightenment – a moment when the veil between the mundane and the transcendent dissolves, revealing the interconnectedness of all things. The exhibition A Satori Moment brings together works by Quek Kiat Sing, Jan Wisse, and Mona Choo, each artist navigating this liminal space where Eastern philosophical traditions meet contemporary artistic practice. Through diverse media and approaches, these artists capture not enlightenment itself – which remains ultimately ineffable – but the trembling instant before understanding arrives, when consciousness hovers between knowing and not-knowing.
