The Turning Point: Art Meets Technology in Singapore
In the great anticipation for the annual ARTSG fair in Singapore, HIGHLIGHT ART (海莱艺术) presents a new exhibition: “Turning Point: Art Meets Technology in Singapore”, featuring the Youth Digital Group (YDG). This groundbreaking show, with doors opening from 23 December 2024 up to 23 January 2025, plunges audiences into a dynamic virtual reality where art and technology converge, offering cutting-edge experiences that are a sensory feast for the eyes. Above all, this exhibition aims to be a meditation on the unfading imprints of the virtual world, and an inception of novel, avant-garde sensory aesthetics.
Whether you are a tech-enthusiast, art explorer, or virtual capital entrepreneur, this exhibition brings you through multi-dimensional global perspectives through the eyes of a young artist group, curious about contemporary culture and future development. Lines will be blurred between technology and nature, mythology and novelty, and human imagination and AI processing; coming together in an experience that presents the viewer a startling reflection of his own human facilities through the lens of AI.
We invite you to experience how digital art dares to reconstruct the past and imagine the unknown.

About HIGHLIGHT ART
HIGHLIGHT ART (海莱艺术) was founded in Shanghai in 2001 and has long been dedicated to creating global, culturally-sensitive intersections between contemporary and modern art. As one of the first-generation contemporary art galleries in China, HIGHLIGHT ART has been part of the tremendous growth of the Asian contemporary art market throughout the 2000s. In 2005, it became one of the first institutions to contribute Chinese contemporary art to Sotheby’s in New York.
In 2022, HIGHLIGHT ART relocated its headquarters to Singapore, broadening its scope from primarily Asia-based artists to a global art space, creating a more inclusive stage for fostering cultural exchange worldwide. Even with the introduction of AI, HIGHLIGHT ART maintains its focus on artists with the evolution of artistic language as its main mission. With over 25 years of experience in archival planning and art market operations, the institution seeks to create greater opportunities for exhibitions and exchanges within digital art projects.
