Kitchen Lithography Workshop | Carbonated Creations

Did you know that common household items such as aluminium foil and Coca-Cola can be used in printmaking?
This hands-on workshop introduces kitchen lithography, an accessible technique based on the same principles as traditional lithography, where an oil-based material repels water to form an inked image.
Be inspired by Wifredo Lam’s works which blended surrealism with natural forms. Create bold, line-based compositions that echo Lam’s expressive hybrid imagery. Introduce colour through a simple stencil technique, layering vibrant forms over monochrome prints to create dreamlike visuals.

Recommended for ages 12 and above.

Content warning: This exhibition contains mature themes that may be sensitive to a younger audience. Viewer discretion is advised.
