Journey and make kin with our surrounding biodiversity in this collaborative workshop with Wild Dot, a botanical ink-making studio that specialises in making paints and artworks with natural pigments found across Singapore.

In conjunction with the exhibition Charles Lim Yi Yong: Staggered Observations of a Coast, and inspired by Lim’s previous work SEA STATE 9 : proclamation garden, this workshop invites participants to experiment with ink extraction using plant species that thrive at reclaimed areas along Changi. Participants will be joined by botanist Boo Chih Min and the artist himself, who will share about the processes and species behind proclamation garden.

Please note that the workshop will take place outside of STPI, at Changi Coastal Track. Meeting point: near GoCycling @ Changi Beach Park C7. More detailed instructions will be sent nearer to the workshop date. In case of bad weather, the workshop will be postponed to a later date. STPI will inform the participants at least a day beforehand.
