How to Be a Rebel: Women In The Arts
Join us for a fireside chat developed in conjunction with the “Rebels, Rascals and Mavericks” exhibition displayed at POPI’S at Mandala Club. This intimate conversation will explore unique journeys, challenges and triumphs of women shaping the cultural landscape today. The esteemed panel of thought leaders will share their stories, offering insights into their creative processes, advocacy for equality, and the power of presentation. Whether you’re a fellow art enthusiast, or an advocate for diversity, this is an unmissable opportunity to celebrate and engage with the voices driving change in the world of art.
Rebels Rascals and Mavericks
A diverse collection of artworks, and personal narratives that encapsulate various forms of rebellion. This exhibition seeks to navigate these dualities by presenting rebellion not merely as a destructive force, but as a vital element in the ongoing dialogue between conformity and individuality.
More than an exhibition—it is a conversation. We hope to inspire viewers to consider the power of dissent in their own lives and the world around them. In a time when global societies face unprecedented challenges, this exhibition serves as a reminder that rebellion, in all its forms, remain a powerful force for change.
This exhibition is jointly curated by members and affiliates of Art Galleries Association Singapore (AGAS): Mizuma Gallery, Richard Koh Fine Art, JW Projects, Sundaram Tagore Gallery and Metis Art.
Date: Saturday, March 1 2025
Time: 11am – 1pm
Venue L2, The Analogue Room, Mandala Club
