Homecoming by Pucuk Cemara

Richard Koh Fine Art (RKFA) is delighted to announce the solo exhibition, “Homecoming,” featuring the works of the talented and introspective artist, Pucuk Cemara. The exhibition is scheduled to be showcased from 7 to 28 October 2023 at our Singapore gallery.

In this series of works, Cemara’s artistic exploration delves deeply into the intricacies of identity and the profound impact of individual experiences. The exhibition offers an evocative journey into the artist’s personal psyche, inviting viewers to contemplate the solitary nature of human existence and the solace found in shared cultural experiences.

“Homecoming” serves as a poignant return to the artist’s Indonesian roots, as Cemara navigates the complex emotions tied to cultural heritage. Through a collection of thought-provoking artworks, the exhibition encourages viewers to engage with themes of memory, departure, and the universal quest for understanding and belonging.

Cemara’s unique perspective on identity is eloquently portrayed through each artwork, inviting viewers to explore the nuances of their own journeys and relationships with their cultural origins. With a masterful blend of acrylic and pen ink, the artist’s creations stand as a testament to their ability to evoke powerful emotions and connect on a profoundly personal level.
