Artist Profile

Mona Choo is a Singaporean multi-disciplinary artist whose practice explores consciousness through both scientific and metaphysical inquiry. Her work draws on ideas from quantum mechanics, multi-dimensional theory, sacred geometry, and personal reflection, creating a conceptual approach that bridges art, science, and philosophy.

She holds a Master’s degree in Art & Science from Central Saint Martins, United Kingdom, and was awarded the International Print Artist-in-Residence at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in 2009. Her works are held in private and corporate collections worldwide and in the permanent collections of the Singapore Art Museum and the Printmaking Research Center.

Her ongoing series The Geometry of Thought began with works on paper and has since expanded to include canvas and sculptural forms. Through geometric structures, repetition, and symmetry, Choo explores what she calls “shape power” - the energetic potential embedded within form - creating contemplative works that invite reflection on the relationship between inner awareness and the material world.
