AGAS promotes art appreciation throughout the country to enhance the value and understanding of art and culture in Singapore. The annual Singapore Art Gallery Weekend event drives this mission with the support of our community and brand & media partners, integrating #TalkingAboutArt, #LivingWithArt, #TheArtLifestyle and #GalleryHopping into sponsorship.

With the aim of driving funding for AGAS as a not-for-profit organisation supporting the arts in Singapore, this year we launched the first-ever Singapore Art Gallery Weekend Patron’s Pass, a collectible, digital NFT token providing access to specially curated private events and benefits. In exchange for supporting the arts through Pass purchase, Patrons receive access to a specially curated art experience including private events and exclusive benefits offered by our generous partners.

The newly-opened Mondrian Singapore Duxton is #TalkingAboutArt, providing Patrons with a unique art tour following an invite-only breakfast reception at Christina's, followed by a guided tour of the hotel’s art collection. It is fascinating to see how local mavericks and international pioneers of the avant-garde transform the hotel into a canvas of creativity.

The private members club, Mandala Club (which is currently waitlist only for membership), is offering a limited-time entry to Patrons at the Tanjong Pagar venue throughout the duration of Singapore Art Gallery Weekend. Mandala Club has also extended 50 Patron’s Pass holders access to its afterparty for the opening of "The Future is Unwritten", the first ever solo exhibition in Southeast Asia of American artist, Shepard Fairey.

From Joo Chiat to Nassim Road, the AGAS’ art collector network #LivingWithArt is opening their homes to Patrons interested in learning about art and how to build a collection with a personal touch. Maison Ferrand exudes the #TheArtLifestyle and is offering a bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary Rum to each of our generous hosts.

With hospitality and creativity at the core of the Patron’s Pass offering, Maison Ferrand is the headline spirits sponsor of the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art party, which is closing out two amazing weeks of arts and culture exploration with Singapore Art Gallery Weekend through music, dancing and performances. Whether selecting the Plantation Original Dark Rum or Plantation Stiggin’s Fancy Pineapple for a cocktail, the good times will be flowing with Hopscotch behind the bar.

#TheArtLifestyle gives Patrons an opportunity to refuel between exhibitions and events with discounted dining at Beast and Butterflies, Cicheti, Wild Child Pizzette and Bar, Sarai Thai and Handlebar. Also, The Straits Wine Company is sponsoring “Palette & Pour” for #GalleryHopping, with wine pairings to sip, stroll and savour amidst the gallery art at Gillman Barracks.

To continue the Singapore Art Gallery Weekend experience beyond the final day, luxury lifestyle management service Quintessentially is offering a limited number of requests through October and November 2023 for the first 100 individuals who purchased the Patron’s Pass. And in conjunction with “Kiehl’s NYC Subway: Trash to Art” campaign at ION Orchard mall, designed to highlight the brand’s commitment to sustainability, Kiehl’s is working with Singaporean artists Maisarah Kamal and Stephanie Jane Burt to adorn the space with recycled art installations and sculptures. Patron’s Pass holders were able to redeem a free Kiehl’s travel kit each to use and reuse in the future.

Because of the Singapore Art Gallery Weekend partners showcased above, AGAS is continuing to elevate the arts and culture scene in Singapore, broadening the community’s involvement and building a platform for future initiatives. We thank all of our partners for their generosity and shared passion for supporting Singapore Art Gallery Weekend.
