
Founded in Tokyo in 1967, Whitestone Gallery has been at the forefront of promoting Japanese post-war art and contemporary art for over half a century. Its commitment to showcasing Gutai has significantly contributed to introducing post-war Japanese art on a global scale. Over the years, Whitestone Gallery has expanded its reach internationally, establishing the New Art Museum in Karuizawa, Japan, in 2012, and further expanding its presence in cities such as Hong Kong, Taipei, Beijing, Seoul and now Singapore. The gallery’s diverse range of artists not only hails from Japan, but includes artists from China, South Korea, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany and beyond.
