Chan + Hori Contemporary

Chan + Hori Contemporary is a curatorial, advisory, and artist management business. It focuses on the three main services of content curation, project management, and artist management. As a specialist in contemporary art curation, the organisation develops creative audience engagement strategies and is an experienced exhibition maker. It works in formats that best meet the needs of artists and clients, which include pop-up exhibitions and festivals in venues around Southeast Asia or further afield. Its immersion and education programmes for executives are conducted in collaborative engagements with museums, art centres, and overseas galleries.

Past exhibitions include DISINI (2018), a nine-month-long public art festival at Gillman Barracks, Atypical Singapore (2018 – 2020), an exhibition of seven local artists held in collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board that travelled to Russia, Myanmar, India, Thailand, and Singapore; and the Maybank Women Eco-Weaver exhibitions (2018, 2019, 2021) held in partnership with the Maybank Foundation.
